Kenji Minatoya has been a member of the Board of Directors at JATS since 2019. He has also been elected as an active member at AATS since 2013. He has been the chairman of the International Affairs Committee of JATS for 2 years. He was the co-chair of the first AATS/JATS Aortic Symposium with Professor Okita in 2019 at Kyoto.
Dr. Minatoya's clinical focus in adult cardiac surgery includes aortic arch surgery, thoracoabdominal aortic surgery and complex aortic root surgery.
