Dr. Manoj Durairaj is the Director of Marian Cardiac Centre and Research Foundation, Pune and Program Director, Heart and Lung Transplantation and MCS, Sahyadri Hospitals, Pune. Dr. Durairaj is the President Elect of the Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons. He is the Editor of The Revival (Official Newsletter of the Society for Heart Failure and Transplantation and the Editor of The Heart to Heart (IACTS Outreach Newsletter).

Dr. Durairaj has completed his MS (General Surgery) from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune and has done his MCH( CTVS) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He has done his Advanced Fellowship in Cardiac Surgery under Professor Brian Buxton, Melbourne University. Dr Durairaj has been elected as Fellow of the American College od Cardiology and been bestowed with D.Litt. He has been awarded Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice the Highest award for lay persons by the Vatican and also received the best citizen of Pune award by the Mayor of Pune 2018 for his contribution in starting the Heart Tranaplant program in the city.

Dr Durairaj has written 2 Book Chapters in Cardiac Surgery and Cardiology text books and has 21 publications in Indexed Journals.
