Professor Isabelle Opitz is Director of the Department of Thoracic Surgery and Chair of the Lung Cancer Center at University Hospital Zurich, Switzerland. She is Professor/Ordinaria for Thoracic Surgery at the University of Zurich. She is a member of numerous societies and to date President of the European Society of Thoracic Surgery and International Director of the American Association for Thoracic Surgery. She serves on the AATS International Thoracic Surgical Oncology Summit Program Committee for a 3-year term and is a member of the Lung Transplant Writing Group.
