Purpose

This Summit is designed to focus exclusively on thoracic surgical oncology with an emphasis on advanced surgical procedures, multidisciplinary care, clinical trials, diagnostics, and cutting-edge technologies that are needed to improve care for patients with cancers of the lung, esophagus, mediastinum and pleura. Educational content will be delivered by an international panel of experts via oral presentations from peer-reviewed abstract submissions, invited lecturers, debates, and multiple high-quality “how I do it” videos.

At the end of this activity, participants will be able to apply the latest minimally invasive surgical and diagnostic techniques and how they intend to use improved understanding of molecular oncology in thoracic surgical oncology in their own practices.
